We’re looking for customer appreciation franchise partners who have a heart for customer service, who understand or can learn our sales process and how our products play a critical role in our customer’s client retention and bottom line. The ideal candidate will have the personal presentation skills to be able to position themselves as ambassadors for the Cookie Advantage brand.

The ideal candidate for our customer appreciation franchises wants to own a profitable business that allows them to work from home and enjoy one of our most powerful advantages, a 4-day work week (Monday through Thursday, no nights and no weekends) that allows time for family and other interests. We offer an opportunity to build a sales pipeline that works even if you’re not actively working, and that can continue producing revenue when you take time away from work.

Ideally, a customer appreciation franchise owner would have a background in marketing and/or sales, customer relations and customer service that they can parlay into a sales process for their own business. However, many of our current owners do not come from these sales-oriented backgrounds but have been highly coachable and able to learn the skills that they need to sell and represent Cookie Advantage programs. While we can teach anyone to do the operations of the business, we require the right personality and skill set for the critical sales aspect of the franchise.

While former schoolteachers are among our most successful owners, we have helped lead franchise owners with varied work and career backgrounds to success. The most valued traits we look for are confidence, professionalism, an outgoing personality, a sincere heart for customer service, the ability to learn the value of our programs, and the ability to present that value to a potential customer. Women do especially well as owners.

We are not a hard-sell company. Typically, our sales are done in person over the course of 3 – 4 visits to a potential client. We and our franchise owners tend to be business casual yet present ourselves as the marketing experts that we are. We are ‘people people’ and sincerely wish to enhance the sales process for our customers and to provide a service that will make their jobs easier. This is done through relationships and letting the product speak for itself – our job is to introduce our programs, help potential customers to realize the value, and once sold, execute programs that produce results.

Our customer appreciation franchise owners are not passive or absentee owners, but full participants in their franchise. A large percentage of our owners do everything themselves, from sales to fulfillment of the program’s customized packages. Some focus on the sales pipeline and have a bakery manager fulfill the orders. Since a large part of a customer appreciation franchise’s success is the selling of the program and fast distribution, the owner must always be fully engaged and on top of production.

In addition to being a personality fit, a candidate must have access to at least $125,000 in capital and be financially fit to purchase their franchise.
